Project breakdown

The challenge

Developers evaluating IoTBroker.Cloud needed a ready-made mobile client to log in, manage topics, publish and subscribe, and check protocol behavior against public sandboxes like Eclipse MQTT before integrating the SDK.

What we built

Built the open-source iOS demo at Mobius Software:

  • Account and broker setup
  • Topic subscription with QoS
  • Message publish UI and inbox
  • Reference implementation for the IoTBroker.Cloud protocol stack

Results & proof

  • Published open source as iotbroker.cloud-ios-client
  • Part of the Mobius multi-platform client family across Java, Node.js, Python, C, Windows, iOS, and Android
  • Supports MQTT, with MQTT-SN, AMQP, and CoAP per the product docs
  • Developer adoption and download counts are not known
