Project breakdown

The challenge

Most habit trackers create yet another data silo. The client wanted a small utility that adds streak visualization on top of Apple Reminders, the tool people already use every day.

What we built

Led the Livita build:

  • SwiftUI with EventKit, reading recurring Reminders
  • Rolling weekly habit grid with tap to complete
  • Yearly heatmap and Reminders permission onboarding
  • Menu-bar extras and Launch at Login on macOS
  • StoreKit 2 freemium
  • Apple Watch companion for completing tasks from the wrist

Results & proof

  • Live on the App Store as a universal iPhone and Mac app

  • Download and active-user figures were not shared by the client
